Wiki Yourself

Published writers everywhere should have a post on Wikipedia. It doesn't matter how much you have written, whether you are a seasoned author, or just getting your feet wet. Get on Wikipedia and get a listing for yourself and your work.

Also check out www.fantasticfiction.com and see if you are listed among the bibliographies for more than 10,000 authors. If not, find out how you can be posted.

Remember, the more times your name is out on the web, the more likely people are to find you, whether by a name or genre search. As always, keep a running list of sites where you know you are posted and update them regularly.

Cool Site for the Crime Scene Savvy

CSI fanatics (like myself) will totally dig this site.

www.crimescene.com

The site is totally fiction, but will get your blood pumping. And, hey, it just might help get through that horrible block stifling your mystery-writing urges.

Need a Website?

The Authors Guild has a site exclusively for writers who want to set up their own sites. Offered are site building and hosting services, as well as domain registration. The prices are reasonable compared to some other services.

If you are looking around for a one-stop virtual shop, check out their site and see if it will meet your needs and budget.
